10th Anniversary, H-D of Madison

This piece was for Harley-Davidson of Madison's 10th Anniversary celebration event. The dealership ask me to create an art piece focusing on the owner's Knuckle Head Chopper while showcasing Madison. The process I use is a combination of Illustration, photography, collage and aerosol. My approach was to create a sense of depth and movement in the background using repetition and texture to subtly build up the backgrounds focal point to the capital. Then positioning the central image of the motorcycle in the foreground to frame the capital. Creating movement for the eye, following form and line work while being able to rest in the texture and layers in the background.
